Visceral Games Shut Down by EA

Visceral Games, best known for their Dead Space franchise, was shut down by Electronic Arts. Their main project, which was a single player Star Wars game, has been moved to a different company and is said to be revamped.

Many people are outraged over this decision. Especially with the fact that the new version of the aforementioned Star Wars game will contain “Pay to Play” services.

With the shutting down of Viscerial Games, many people are fearing that another video game company could be next. They have theorized that BioWare could be in their sights. With the rushed development of Dragon Age II and the disaster known as Mass Effect: Andromeda, it seems the company could be on the horizon.

Only time will tell.
